No student has stepped forward at this time, no, though there could be many reasons for that.

I would like very much if this whole business were nothing but a rumour.

An issue like this has to be dealt with pretty sensitively. I can see why all the staff are involved...

Is the presumed student of age, at least? [ That would be a serious problem if they weren't. ]
